GOVERNMENT DETERMINED TO TAKE ACTION ON PLAQUES. Date : 17-03-2008 Gordon Brown has stated that he is determined to take some action in relation to compensation for Pleural Plaques. In answer to a Parliamentary Question on 12/3/2008 he said the Government will be publishing a consultation document very soon and he has agreed to meet a delegation of MPs to discuss the matter further
